Terry is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Terry spent five years in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office working in both the Appellate and Criminal Trial Divisions. Before joining Eugene L. Griffin & Associates, Ltd., Terry worked in a large Chicago litigation firm, practicing primarily in the areas of real estate and municipal law. Terry has been with the firm since its inception in 1992 and serves as its Managing Partner. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association State and Local Tax Committee, The American Bar Association and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, where he served on the Property Tax Textbook Committee. He has co-authorized a chapter on Subdivisions for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) and has also appeared as a speaker before the Illinois Association of Municipal Officers, The Chicagoland Association of Shopping Center Owners (CASCO), and the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF). Terry is a past president of the Celtic Legal Society of Chicago and currently serves on its Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Wisconsin State Bar.

Gene is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. After six years as a trial attorney with a Chicago litigation firm, Gene joined Eugene L. Griffin & Associates, Ltd. in 1993. Gene has represented clients on real estate tax matters before the Cook County Board of Review, Circuit Court of Cook County, State of Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB), and Illinois Department of Revenue.
Gene is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association, where he served as Chairperson of both the Real Estate Taxation Committee and The Assessment and Appeals Subcommittee. Gene has been a panelist and speaker at the Chicago Bar Association's annual Real Estate Taxation Seminar and is a former Arbitrator Panel Chairperson for the Cook County Circuit Court Mandatory Arbitration program. Gene also serves on a number of boards for organizations located in his community.

MICHAEL B. ANDRE

Mike graduated from the University of Iowa and received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law where he was an executive member of the Moot Court Board. For fifteen years, Mike worked as an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office where he served as a trial assistant in the felony trial division. As a career trial attorney, Mike has tried more than fifty jury trials, hundreds of bench trials and successfully argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Court. Mike joined the firm in 2013 and has continued his zealous advocacy representing clients before the Cook County Board of Review, Boards of Review throughout Illinois, the State of Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB) and in Circuit Court. Mike is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Association.

KEVIN A. GRIFFIN

Kevin is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and received his law degree from Loyola University-Chicago. While at Loyola, Kevin was on the Dean's List and authored literature published in Loyola's Education Law and Policy Journal. Kevin joined Eugene L. Griffin & Associates, Ltd., in 2021 after practicing as a personal injury attorney at a prominent Chicago law firm where he litigated a variety of complex tort cases. Kevin is an active member of both the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) and the Chicago Bar Association (CBA). He is a member of the ISBA's Tort Law and State and Local Taxation sections and the Assistant Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Coordinator of the Torts section. He is also an investigator for the CBA's Judicial Evaluation Committee and has conducted and led investigations of Cook County judicial candidates. Kevin has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as a "Rising Star", a distinction earned by only 2.5% of lawyers in the state.
